Types of Cases: Initially, all cases would be > two years old and ASA 1 and 2.
If the clinician is more comfortable, they will increase the complexity and include them on the call schedule. Predominantly Orthopedic and Dental. Possibly General Surgery and Urology.
Majority case types: Sports Injuries, Dental Rehabilitation, Appendectomies, Hernia Repair, Circumcisions.
Required procedures: No regional. Standard intubation, LMA placement, IV placement
# of Operating Rooms: 11
Shift Days: M-F 7a-5:30p
Current Available Shifts: 10-Hour Shifts (7 AM - 5:30 PM)
Weekday Call, If Needed: Weekday shifts start at 7 AM and finish at 3:30 PM, 5:30 PM, or 8:30 PM.
Weekends are not required but would be appreciated. Weekends are home call also. We can also schedule weekend shifts in the hospital. Weekend shifts are 7 AM - 5:30 PM.
