Mercy Downtown Hospital and Mercy Southwest hospital are award winning, state of the art facilities that are a part of the expanding Dignity Health Medical Network. Together the Mercy hospitals consist of 265-beds serving the residents of Kern County and its largest city—Bakersfield. The Mercy hospitals perform over 11,000 orthopedic, general, gynecological, urological, ENT and other routine surgeries—no hearts, no heads and only healthy pediatrics patients. The Obstetrical department accommodates about 2,000 deliveries a year.
Having served the community for more than 100 years, the Mercy hospitals now wish to leverage their well-earned reputation within the community and as a part of that initiative the Anesthesia Department is looking to add several CRNAs to join its 25-member team. Mission critical skills and mindsets center on providing the very safest and highest quality care in an autonomous and enriching environment.
